about
The goal of this code is to yield the most nested structures in a song without stretching the limits of listenability. Third-party loops outside of GarageBand are strictly prohibited, but the use of Tonebridge VST is allowed.
Josefine Mutzenbacher's voice is synthesized from an owned asset with Replicate to recite a poem -- it was her failure to complete the sentence (which led to the stuttering at the end) that inspired this whole experiment.
The artwork is a product of diffusion bukkake with final retouch by the author himself. You should've seen the AI-made face -- poor Mutzenbacher looked like a half-chomped pretzel! Important: it would've been way faster and cheaper to create it using human capabilities. This, again, proves the point.
Ever since "Luckycat", this hybrid of man-machine boogaloo has always been a point of interest to me. If you prefer literate lyrics and heartfelt singing, my back catalogue will always be there. I'm just not in the mood to sing for anyone lately.
"People, they don't understand..." is not just Julian Casablancas' flippant crooning anymore. It's the Gospel of Pandu Hutomo.
Oh, and you should try asking GPT to write a code that will yield tears using 1 and o matrices. It's hilariously stupid, and pretty fucking sad tbh
lyrics
# This was the original prompt to be read by Mutzenbacher. Notice where she started stuttering and yielded Runtime Error:
Look for my monument when I’m gone
Look for the wasted hearts and memories of yore
Scattered upon the seas of illusion
Koi among koi
What use is a life devoted to shining
When done among countless other stars?
What merit is a fool claiming his own gold
When born in an age of surplus and excess?
So look for my monument, or don’t
Expectations are great and your shoulders are but human
Where was expectation, that night many moons ago,
When you stumbled into a brothel and found the meaning of your life?
